Greetings,
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem for me. I am getting the following error when I try to perform backups across the SAN using the TSM Storage Agent.
ANR8311E (Session: 1825, Origin: SA_CLIENT) An I/O
error occurred while accessing drive RMT1 (\\.\Tape0) for
GET_TAPE_DRIVE_INFORMATION operation, errno = 121.
We are using TSM 5.1.5 on an AIX server with an IBM 3584 library. The client is Windows 2000 (also get the same error in NT 4.0 client) running TSM 5.1.5.
The tape mounts in the correct drive in the library, the client shows the message that the volume has been mounted in \\.\Tape0, but the client sits on "Waiting for volume". After about 3 or 5 minutes, I get the above error in the activity log.
Clients are Windows 2000 (or NT 4.0) with Qlogic 23xx HBA.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can reach me at [email protected]
Thanks!
Will
