ANR0259E Unable to read...

Hi Folks,

I have tried to install TSM 5.1 on AIX 4.3.3. The message below appers after successful installation and start:



/usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin:dsmserv

ANR7800I DSMSERV generated at 02:47:47 on Feb 22 2002.

ANR0259E Unable to read complete restart/checkpoint information from any

database or recovery log volume.



Could anyone help ? Any Ideas ?

not sure if this will be much help, but I had a problem when upgrading Tsm 5.1 on Aix 4.3.3. After installing the new code, I could not bring up the server. This was due to Windows 2000 systemobjects not expiring properly. I was able to resolve this problem by upgrading to the current maintanace level and patch. True that the message you recieved is different than mine, but it makes sense to trying updating the maintenance and patch level to see if that will resolve your problem.
