I've noticed on the intel clients a folder called adsm.sys get's created ? Inside of this is ASR folder. What is this used for ? Can it bge deleted ?

Hi,
Don't delete it. It is used during the backup of systemstate(2003) or systemobject(2000) and systemservices.

Is this just in W2k ? what heppens if get's deleted ?

w2k3 too. If you delete it, TSM will create it again.

No intel owner was asking about it, I wasn't sure. first time that I was ever asked that question

One other question, what if I needed to change the location do D: drive is that possible ?

The adsm.sys directory is to be located on the system drive. There is no option for it to be located elsewhere.
Unless you build a new system with D: ast the system drive.
