ADMIN ID Locked

My only Admin Id "ADMIN" is locked. I am unable to connect to the server as admin. I can't halt the TSM server also.



How can I unlock "ADMIN"? (I don't have any other admin who has system privilege)

Its nasty, but you have to stop the TSM server the hard way. Either kill the server process or stop the server service (depending on your OS) Once the server is stopped, you need to start the server in the forground (/usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/ba/dsmserv for Unix/Linux or c:\program files\tivoli\tsm\server\dsmserv?? for windows) once the server has started in the forground, update your admin account and unlock it. I would also suggest adding another account. Shut the TSM server down gracefully (halt) and restart it as normal.
