I am currently running 8.1.10.100 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 running kernel 3.10.0-1160.6.1.el7.x86_64and attempting to update to 8.1.11. I get the following error:

I have verified that the password is correct for tsminst1, verified tsminst1 can ssh. I don't ever recall a tsm update asking for credentials for the instance owner?
