hello,
I have a 4.2.1 TSM client scheduler running on a Solaris 8 box. On this particular system, I am incrmentally backing up over 16 million files. I consistently have problems with the "dsmc sched" process using all of the memory in the system and swap. It appears that if I stop and start the scheduler, when there are no backups running, it will clear. Does anyone no of a better way to schedule a backup with this many files? Would the 5.1.5 client fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated,
Jonathan
