3583 lib problems

There is a tape always in my 3583 library driver for 8 days .

I take the tape out now .

but the library do not put the tapes in the driver any more .

I checked the tdpsql.log , there is a error log like this:



10/08/2003 10:02:35 ACO0302E A failure occured on stripe number (0), rc = 418

10/08/2003 10:02:35 ANS1312E (RC12) Server media mount not possible

10/08/2003 10:02:35 Backup of CMS2003 failed.

10/08/2003 10:02:35 ANS1312E (RC12) Server media mount not possible



so , any idea ?

Try halting the TSM server and use the control panel on the 3583 tape library to move the tape out of the drive.

Try to do "q drive" to see if your drives are online cause it looks like they aren't. Did you have any tape errors?
