2nd opt file

I want to create a second backup on the same node (AIX) for only one specific directory. I'm assuming I would create a 2nd opt file
create a command sched using dsmc sched -optfile=<full path ? How would I exlclude everyting else ?


exclude all
include fs path to folder ?

or....create a second node name ?

I think I just answered my own question. I created a second sched and added the FS I want to backup in the Objects line with subdir=yes. Associate node with the second sched should start and only backup the objects..."should"

A simpler way is to create another schedule, use incremental however in the objects field specify the directory you want to backup.
This will keep all your files on a single node.

I use this for performing a hourly incremental of archive logs.
