Re: [Veritas-bu] Need to Monitor Multiple Master Server through Admin Console

If you are talking about the Windows Admin Console (not the Java one), your desktop hostname has to be added as a server on all master servers you want to manage, and they need to be able to fully resolve the desktop's hostname and IP address.
Check that there is a SERVER=xxxx entry for your desktop in each of the master server's bp.conf files. Then run bpclntcmd -hn and bpclntcmd -ip from the servers back to your workstation to check that everything resolves nicely.

Hi Forum,
I have 3 Master servers having Solaris 9 & 10 as OS and NBU 6.0 MP4 & 6.0 MP 6. Same needs to be monitored through Netbackup Administration Console.
I am able to get the first Master server but other 2 are not coming when i change the server. Its giving the error as "Unable to connect to the selected Netbackup Host ROMNETBK " and for the other Master it is giving the error as " MASTERBKP2 is not the Netbackup Master Server or the Netbackup Media Server Pls. select a different server. "
Any suggestions / advice how to configure all 3 for monitoring through Admin Console.
