In your example, is SERVERNAME set up as a media server? Is /directory set
up as a storage unit?
Not quite sure what this particular issue is, but sounds like you could you
NFS
until it's resolved.

Someone has probably touched on this before but I am unable to find it so I
am going to ask again.
I am currently backing up the Netbackup DB onto tape and I wish to back it
up to disk on a server that is different from the master. I have tried a
few ways and am unable to figure it out. I have attempted
SERVERNAME:/DIRECTORY, I have mounted the directory a few different ways,
but I keep getting the same error of: Exit status = media write error
If I just use a local-to-the-master directory, it backs up fine. I would
really like to back up to a different server.
I am open to any suggestions.
Thanks!
