The media id is still there.
do this
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmquery -m A00000 -b
Its there
bpexpdate doesn't delete the media id, but expire the
IMAGES that are contained on the media (given your
example).
You don't need to do anything unless that media id had
information that you DIDN'T mean to delete.
In which case you will need to perform an import of
that tape.
