You can use the native NetWorker client inside the actual VM.

Hello, 
If i understood it correctly, Chester, mentioned that "ALLVMFS" does not 
capture "system state", so using native OS to dump it locally, before VM backup 
was an workaround, until the issue is addressed with VM backups.

Seeing as NetWorker licensing is now different and is, IMNSHO, much more 
sensible, why not just use NetWorker to backup the System State?
