It definitely won't recognize LTO4 drives as LTO4. But if it should be able to use them (We've used every new drive type we've ever upgraded to as something older in the same family until NetWorker released a version that understood the drive. All that you see is the wrong capacity and you have to remember what the real native capacity is).
