If you want ZFS backups, then there's not much choice.  Without serious
hacking, only 7.3.2 is going to work.  All previous versions will exit
when they hit ZFS and can't understand the response on the ACLs.

I believe server first is the only supported method.  That said, I've
run some uprev clients before without issue, but knowing that I was out
of spec.
