Which OS are you running the 7.3.1 server on?

I just gotta wonder ... is 7.3.1 working well on any platform?

Does anyone on this list have any positive things to say about 7.3.1?

Remember dragging any major application into Windows GUI for the first
time? It is ALWAYS a nightmare. The guys with experience coding
Networker are comfortable in a linux world. They are not windows
programmers. I believe people were hired to help migrate the product to
the new (JAVA) gui interface.

As far back as 1998 Legato had both dedicated Windows and dedicated Java programmers. There is actually quite a bit of Windows and java experience there. The only gui that was written by the client/server engineers was the original X windows gui (well, and nsradmin, my favorite).

7.3 apparently reflects a re-structuring of a lot of things along with a new GUI. So, yes, it will take some time to settle out. But it's not because C programmers are suddenly trying to write java.
