I almost mentioned 5.x but wasn't sure if it was 5.5.0 or 5.0 which was
so problematic. This list kept me a way from 6.0. 

The typical response seems to upgrade, which is something I challenge
until they can show me where it is fixed.

I was at Legato when we released 6.0 (and 5.0, for that matter).   
Each time most customers were sticking to 4.2.7 or 5.1.2 or whatever  
was considered the most stable at the time.

But, man, did we have problems with 6.0.  So much was different and  
new.  And, yes, this sounds just like that.
