I was at Legato when we released 6.0 (and 5.0, for that matter).
Each time most customers were sticking to 4.2.7 or 5.1.2 or whatever
was considered the most stable at the time.
But, man, did we have problems with 6.0. So much was different and
new. And, yes, this sounds just like that.
