To eliminate repeats, set the "Client retries" parameter to 0 under
"Save Group set", than you should deal with your RPC error problem. This
issue has been discussed many times on this list.
In general you should backrev the Novell TCPIP stack to earlier version.

I am currently getting a problem backing up our Netware 6.5 SP5 server
running the Networker client 7.2 Combi1 patch.
The backup of the volumes SYS, MAIL, ARCHIVE get backed up more that
once.
When the backup of the volume completes its starts all over again and
and
this can happen from 2 times to 4 times. On the odd occasion it only
happens once and finishs properly. The repeats fill up our 2 (~40GB)
DLT
tapes. {Incrementals are OK}
Server side is Networker 7.2.1 Build 311 running on W2k SP4
In the daemon.log I get the error

Would the nwlib6g.exe (Novell patch) fix this RPC error perhaps? It is
Beta
at the moment so I am a bit reluctant to put it on.
