In regard to: [Networker] Networker 7.3 and Linux kernel 2.6, Itzik Meirson...:

I have tried to install Networker 7.3 on a RedHat Fedora Core 3 that is
based on the 2.6 kernel.
Networker on my Fedora core seems to not be able to handle the jukebox
and its devices.
Is the Fedora kernel that different from RedHat ES4 or is this a flaw in
the new 7.3?

I would say it's probably that different, but you should be able to tell
by looking at the source RPMs for the two and determining the differences.
My guess is that the RH kernel source RPM has additional patches. FYI,
the Red Hat AS 4 kernel source RPM includes 686 patches. That's not a
typo, though not all of them are always applied (many are arch specific).

BTW, did you notice in the release notes what I'm assuming has to be a
typo: The notes indicate that RH 4 is supported, but using the 2.4.x kernel.
