LTO uses variable block size just unset
NSR_DEV_TAPE_BLOCK_SIZE_LTO_ULTRIUM if set.
and also try tun CDI of (not use on edit device -> configuration)
try:
mt -f /dev/nst0
you should get a bock size of 0 (variable)

Hi,
I upgraded our Redhat 8 NW 7.1.3 server to Redhat Enterprise 3. I
tried to do a bootstrap recovery, but it fails:

Kernel is self-built 2.4.32 (just like on the old system, the Redhat
kernels are unusable on this Dell system). I also set
NSR_DEV_TAPE_FILE_SIZE_LTO_ULTRIUM to 131072.
Any ideas?
