Immediate saves are included in at least Network Edition and Power Edition.
(I'm not sure about Business Edition and Workgroup Edition.)

I believe there was once a bug in the immediate saves buffer handling for
which the workaround was to touch the noimmediate file, which would turn
immediate saves off.

By default, this file should NOT exist. We can only guess at the reasons
for the file having been created on the system in question.

AFAIK, the immediate saves functionality is included in all editions of
recent releases, not just Power Edition. Perhaps someone in Legato could
confirm or deny that?
