Hello,

Nsrck -L7 is used for recover client index since Legato change the index
format.
In NetWorker 5.X the index format is WISS now with NetWorker 6.X is Extented
Data Representation XDR.

Regards

Jean-Pierre GIROT.

Hello

mmrecov is used for recover nsr.res directory (configuration of
networker).
nsrck -L7 is used for check and repair bettween index files on the server
and these index files stored on tapes. For level check you can select
range L1(only check) ....... L7 (check a repair from tape).

Greetings,

I am running networker server 6.1.2 on AIX. Next week I will be doing a
disaster recovery exercise.
The manual now says to use the nsrck -L7 to recover the client indexes.
Where does it get that data
from?

In the past, I just used to recover the client indexes manually after the
mmrecov.

Thanks!
