Check that the servers file on the client contains the name of the NetWorker
server.
Also ensure that DNS is properly set up.
You must be able to resolve hostname and IP address of server and client
from both server and client.

Hello,

We are running a backup through the GUI interface, and receiving a error
with "unknown host".
It doesn't record anything in the group detail. The backup appears it was
successful.
It only shows this message in the daemon.log file.

Has anyone seen this sympton?
