Subject: Defrag my TSM Databas
Hi Everyone!
I4m trying to defrag my TSM Server 5.2.0.1 for Windows 2000 Adv Server
(SP3).
And to defrag my TSM Server I4m useing unloaddb / loaddb.
The error I got when I try to load my databas again after I have format the
new once is.
ANR0990I Server restart-recovery in progress.
ANR0259E Unable to read complete restart/checkpoint information from any
database or recovery log volume.
And I have both try to format my new databas with "dsmfmt" and "dsmserv
format" but I4m still got the same problem all the time.
Any idea what i4m doing wrong?
(Step by Step i4m doing it right now)
i) Halt my TSM Server
ii) Run from a command line "dsmserv unloaddb devclass=fileclass"
iii) Rename my old databas file to .OLD
iv) Runing command "C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\Server\dsmserv.exe format 4
db1.dsm 512 db2.dsm 512 db1m.dsm 512 db2m.dsm 512" from my Server1 catalog
v) "C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\Server\dsmserv.exe loaddb
devclass=fileclass volumename=E:\Tape\68120058.dmp"
Here it4s stops :(
Best Regard / Med vdnlig hdlsning
