Considering the difficulty most technical folks have with getting a good
handle on how the management classes with its four different variables and
how they affect restores and what "incremental forever" really means, I
*really* doubt that most sales people do anything to digest how it works
other than how to spin it to unsuspecting prey!!
(YMMV)

This is typical of how Veritas sales people attack TSM. I had a Veritas
sales rep try to equate 'Incremental forever' with 'Restore forever'.

Lisa, at least the CA people are smart enough to know when they are
beat.

I had a customer here in the Bay Area call VERITAS to have a
presentation on BMR. The response from VERITAS was that the only way
this customer could use BMR is if they moved off TSM and used NetBackup
exclusively.

Has anyone else experienced this? I thought VERITAS was going to push
this product's integration with TSM, not use the purchase of The Kernel
Group to pouch TSM accounts!
