Probably the simplest technique is to just "DEL FIlespace <file-space-name>"
from a TSM admin. session... but this does inspire the question --> "Do you
really want to have a period where no data can be restored, while awaiting
the 7th daily cycle?"

Another technique we've used is to change the copygroup (for this file
system's destination management class) to "absolute" every  7th day... this
tends to be more useful when the entire population or node needs a fresh
"Full" backup.
