I strongly recommend before proceeding much further that you consider a TSM
class.  TSM is similar to CAM in the sense that you use Stager disk in both.
But from there the similarities end and TSM is completely different beast.
Your frustration level is going to increase dramatically without better
understanding.

The simple answer is yes, you can have two different policies: one for data
and one for DBs.  There are a couple of ways of handling this: one Policy
Domain with two Managment classes or two Policy Domains.  If you have two
types of data on one client (likely) then you will use one Domain and two
classes.
