An example for excluding the SYS volume would be :

exclude : \SYS\*.*

We're having some problems with creating an include/exclude list for our
novell clients. If at the bottom of the include/exclude list in dsm.opt we
put a "exclude *", it will not exclude everything* It seems to ignore that
line. Is there a single exclude for a novell box that will exclude
everything (better yet an exclude.dir since they're more efficient)?

The second question is in excluding a volume. This particular novell test
box has 4 volumes.. One of which is a cd that was inserted in the drive that
we obviously don't want backed up. How do you specify an exclude and/or
exclude.dir to exclude an entire volume? We've tried various versions of
what's in the redbook and seem to have limited success on the Novell client
side.

Thanks,

Gerald
