Hi,
You'll maybe like the new SQL table in TSM 3.7.1 ... whic can give
process and session information as below; you can select on different
criteria according to your needs. For example,
tsm> select * from SUMMARY
START_TIME: 1999-10-19 10:15:05.000000
END_TIME: 1999-10-19 10:16:23.000000
ACTIVITY: STGPOOL BACKUP
NUMBER: 1
ENTITY: BACKUPPOOL -> BACKUP_V1
COMMMETH:
ADDRESS:
SCHEDULE_NAME:
EXAMINED: 145
AFFECTED: 145
FAILED: 0
BYTES: 32673792
IDLE: 0
MEDIAW: 52
PROCESSES: 1
SUCCESSFUL: YES
START_TIME: 1999-10-20 17:37:18.000000
END_TIME: 1999-10-20 17:39:14.000000
ACTIVITY: BACKUP
NUMBER: 34
ENTITY: BLUE.OUCS
COMMMETH: Tcp/Ip
ADDRESS: 163.1.14.197:2537
SCHEDULE_NAME:
EXAMINED: 1855
AFFECTED: 1855
FAILED: 0
BYTES: 26132340
IDLE: 5
MEDIAW: 0
PROCESSES: 1
SUCCESSFUL: YES
tsm> select * from summary where activity like 'EXPIRATION'
START_TIME: 1999-10-20 15:01:09.000000
END_TIME: 1999-10-20 17:41:45.000000
ACTIVITY: EXPIRATION
NUMBER: 10
ENTITY:
COMMMETH:
ADDRESS:
SCHEDULE_NAME: 0
EXAMINED: 530605
AFFECTED: 530090
FAILED: 0
BYTES: 0
IDLE: 0
MEDIAW: 0
PROCESSES: 1
SUCCESSFUL: YES
I haven't figured out when things disappear from the SUMMARY table yet
but it looks a really good addition. Also, when multiple concurrent
processes exist (like migpr=2 or maxpr=4) the processes get bundled
together (well in my test they did) as a single entry.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Sheelagh
