3570 Magstar - volume labeling

Im attempting to label single 3570 cartridge (with barcode support) into a
3570 Mod C12 or a C02 with the LABEL LIBv command.
LABEL LIBV LIBxxxx SEARCH=BULK LABELS=B CHECKIN=PRIVATE
When this is invoked, Im prompted to enter a volume in the entry port of the
device but ADSM searches all slots before it
loads the volume from the entry port in a drive for labeling. Is this the
normal flow? Is the command correct?
