Tom,

When we put new scratch tapes in the library we open the library door and
insert tapes in empty slots. We then enter:
 LABEL LIBV LIBxxxx SEARCH=yes LABELS=B CHECKIN=SCRATCH.
The library will scan the entire library and then label each new tape.
This process will work for one or for many new scratch tapes.
