This is from the Glossary in the B/A Client book for ver 3.1
Network data transfer rate - the data transfer rate calculated by dividing the
total number of bytes transferred by the data transfer rate.
Aggregate data transfer rate - is calculated by dividing the total number of
bytes transferred by the elapsed processing time.
Seems to me that I read a better description of these terms someplace else, but
don't remember where.

Subject: Network stats at end of backup/archive
ADSMv3 changed the network stats which appear at the end of a
Backup or Archive operation, from:
Data transfer rate:
to:
Network data transfer rate:
Aggregate data transfer rate:
There's nothing I can find in the Backup/Archive manual to describe
just what the values mean. Could someone point me to a description
of those rates, or provide an explanation?
thanks, Richard Sims, Boston University OIT
