I tried putting a similar script into rc2.d and it didn't work to well, (never
figured out why). So
I eventually did as IBM suggest and patched the following line into /etc/inittab
adsm::once:/usr/bin/dsmc sched >> /tmp/adsm.log 2>&1
This seems to work fine for us - not much help I know! I would have thought
that it would have
been better to have it respawn-able and only active at level 2 and above.
