Level 90 microcode is available for the DLT7000. It addresses problems with
broken leaders and high speed search/positioning. We have been running it in an
AIX, ADSM V2, and STK 9710 environment for over a month with no problems. Also,
we are running a patched AIX mt device driver whcih addresses I/O errors on
LOCATE with the DLT7000 (they timeout under situations where the on-tape
directory is determined to be in error). The patched mt device driver is
available through ADSM support.
