Melinda,
How many nodes/filespaces do you have and what is the size of your
database?
I observed that the total number of db entries is no problem. My largest
server has 17,000,000 files spread over 157 nodes and a 10 gig database.
I have no performance problems on this server. On a different server I
have a node with 2,500,000 files. As I mentioned in a recent posting
this node has a LOT of performance problems.
