I have a back up Netview server running "upgrade" 7.1.2 AIX 433 ML 10 and would like to transfer the topology map to the production server running "fresh install" 7.1.2 AIX 433 ML 10. They are both in the same subnet.

Is there a problem with one being an upgrade and the other a fresh install? or can I just transfer the /usr/OV/databases/openview and it will be ok.

I was told before that I could not transfer the trapd.conf because of the structure class or something. I dont know if t he same applies with topology map.
