Take a look in /usr/OV/log/netview_root.log or the log for whichever userid
you are using. Maybe your DISPLAY is exported to another workstation?
Usually there is an error message at the commandline if it was unable to
open the display. Wander around the office and see where it popped up!

Hello LIst:

Do you know what it means that when I type netview to open the GUI I
receive
the message
port map is already running
And the GUI doesn't open???
