Sean,

You will need to go into CiscoWorks, go to
 Server Configuration/Administration/Event Management,..from there
select Event Consumer Admin, when you get there you can then configure
filters for EventLogger and EventToTrap. By default they are set to NONE,
select ALL or define your own filters..and Apply.
Hint:( Read the help files when you get to this section
.it will tell you how to further customize event handling.)

To set traps based on config changes, go to  RME (Resource Management Essentials),  select the
Administrator Folder (you'll need to be a system administrator to see this).  When there
select Change Audit/Administer Trap Generator,  this will allow you to set up TRAPs based on config changes.

Hope this helps.....

Hello All,

A Strange question I know.  How do I get events from my Cisco Works Machine
into Netview??

I have installed the cisco Works integration and all installed ok.  I have
all the icons and mibs loaded.  I just do not get any messages.

Any Pointer would be great
