I ran into this error today, but it was the permissions on the perl binaries 
themselves that was the culprit. I had received a zipped copy of the ICS 
installer and i think in the process of zipping it in windows and transferring 
it to our red hat machine and unzipping it there i lost all the executable 
permissions on all the scripts in the installer. Tar FTW. 

Check out your permissions:

# ls -al <ICS dir>/perl/bin/

if perl isnt excutable try changing it. i got this error after changing it tho:

 ./installics
./installics: line 43: <>/ICS/perl/bin/perl: cannot execute binary file
./installics: line 43: <>/ICS/perl/bin/perl: Success


So i'm going to track down the actual ICS cd and make an ISO of it and see how 
that works. If anyone has any tips on the above error about it not being able 
to execute a binary file let me know your thoughts.
