Hey, according to the latest system compatibility list i am ok. Says netbackup 
6.5 will run on the following linux's:

Linux

RHEL (ES) 3.0 (zSeries), RHEL 3.0 (AS, ES, WS), RHEL 4.0, RHEL 5, Red Flag DC 
Server 4.1, RedHat Enterprise Server 2.1 (AS, ES, WS), SLES 10, SLES 8, SLES 9, 
SuSe 9.0, SuSe 9.0 (zSeries), SuSe 9.2

I will need at least MP4 for the 2.6 kernel but it apparently is supported. 


I'm not sure how to enable 32bit compatibility mode but i will research it now 
and give it a go.
