Simon,
Did you confirm the robot is still available to the server? sgscan or
scan (win2K) Could be your server has lost "sight" of the robot.

Subject: RE: [Veritas-bu] Netbackup 3.4
Thats the problem - no matter what I do, its in an AVR state for some
unknown reason. so sort of understand why I got the problem, but trying to
work out why it will not come back online.
Unless I do a physical shudown of ALL devices and restart - which I cannot
do :(
Regards

Make sure the robot is actually "on line".
If a robot drive is in AVR state, it might as well be down. It will not
get used, unless you manually load the tape into the drive.

Guys Got a problem on single NT4 NBU 3.4 - Dont want to delve too deep,
but anyone provide assistance on why NBU jobs all fail with 219 - storage
unit not available, even though there is one listed, and the policy is
using the correct one.
One thing I did notice, and that is the Robot (ADIC SCALAR) shows AVR
control - which does not seem good to me, as usually its TLD
Thanks
