In the master and media server properties increase your timeout for
client read and client connect. This helps especially with Exchange
clients where the backup is not complete until after all the logs are
replayed which can take hours.

Seems I can (usually) perform a restore that will come close to
completing, sometimes will be totally complete ....

ie
tar restored #### of #### files successfully
tar kept 0 existing files
tar partially restored 0 files

then the job will sit there for a while and finally fail with a status
5.

usually at that point, though I can ping the client, and telnet to the
BPCD port successfully, any attempts to connect to the machine by NB
will fail with a status 41.
