Notes from my  blog you may find useful

a.. bpimmedia -U -mediaid <media id> - will list images and fragments on a
tape. Replace -U with -L

 vmquery -a - gives info on each tape

 bpexpdate -backupid <backup_id> -d 08/10/2005 - expires a certain backupid
on <date> . -d 0 expires now
