to be a bit more specific:

the tape won't be unmounted if there's another queued job that
qualifies to use it, and that queued job activates and launches its
bptm process before $MEDIA_UNMOUNT_DELAY seconds have elapsed since the
completion of the previous job.  (MEDIA_UNMOUNT_DELAY defaults to 180
sec)
