Since NetBackup was setup 3 or 4 years ago here, all NetWare backups
have used the True Image Recovery information option. Ostensibly, this
was because NetBackup didn't properly restore back NDS permissions
otherwise, not necessarily to use the power of TIR. 

I would like to discontinue collecting TIR due to the amount of extra
space this TIR info is taking in my catalog database and that
duplicating these images takes longer than non-TIR images.

Does backing up NetWare without TIR pose any real threat?
