This is a fact.  STK uses a different type of barcode than ATL, and others.
You will have to make sure you get barcodes that work for the STK.  In a
disaster recovery secanrio, you might have to manually specify what tapes
are in each slot through the media manager (if you don't have readable
barcodes).

I think the problem is STK uses digital camera intead of barcode 
reader as ATL does.
