[Veritas-bu] changing tape libraries at hot site
2001-02-05 13:34:34
David,
I thought I saw an issue on this site a couple of weeks ago involving the
barcodes on STK libraries versus non-STK libraries. Any issues you can think of
regarding that?
Regards,
Dennis

Shouldn't be a problem. I can't think of any show
stoppers.
You'll just want to make sure that you have your robot
configured properly at the hot site (robnum, devfile,
etc.)
Perhaps one of the things that I would do after you
recover the databases at your hot site would be to move
all of the tapes to NON-ROBOTIC or STANDALONE then Auto-
Inventory the library.
other than that I think you should be okay.
