That's one of the angles I'd hit it at, see if there are errors in the library 
logs.  You may also try to run a changers or an inquire command to see if the 
os can see it.

It is looking like you will need an engineer. Have you got the L700 connected 
up to the network and the web interface working? You might get more information 
that way. I think the L700 needs a licence for the web interface BTW.
