Re: [Networker] NDMP Recover Error

Hello,
You can continue to use over the network method for NDMP, what i would
like to know is what do you type into the restore options, does this
confirm to celerra path, i.e /vol/vol1/restore ? NDMP backups should be
restored to like devices i.e celerra.Did you apply the variable i
mentioned in my previous post?DSA_SAVE_NODE=IP ADD?
Check the remote user attribute for accuracy & make sure your restore
options are valid ( if they are not correct restore will go to root volume
and i see you have that error)
What options have you applied into the client properties ( Apps and
module-Application info), networker guide has info on what needs to be
applied in here for celerra.( check the Direct=y or n )

NDMP Recover Error
The first time I tried doing the restore I created a Restore folder in the
same area as the original data was backed up from. So, I was trying to
restore to the folder I created. The second time I tried to restore, it
was to a different location on the Celerra.
Should I try restoring directly to the Networker server itself?
Thanks for the input so far.
Oh and Fazil, should we not be using over the network method for NDMP
backup? The way we are currently doing it is the way EMC Tech Support set
it up.
