[Networker] Problem adding a client
2005-01-13 11:52:32
The NetWorker server is v. 7.1.2 under Solaris 9. I just entered a new
client resource under an incorrect hostname and /etc/hosts entry for a
Windows 2003 system. I deleted that client resource and than I corrected
the /etc/hosts entry, but no matter what I do, the nwadmin GUI will not
allow me to enter the correct name for this new client resource. The
nwadmin GUI keeps telling me to enter the client-id for the incorrect
client. When I do that, nwadmin complains again, but it displays a
different client-id. I don't need to rename this client, I just want it to
exist. Clicking the apply button again does nothing except elicit another
complaint.
How can I fix this problem?
